Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for in-home, PRN/home health visits across Cambria and Somerset counties.

You will work under a Physical Therapist to deliver a full range of patient services, including exercise, gait training, and ADL assistance, while ensuring safety and quality care. The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and opportunities for daily pay.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Valid state-issued driver license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• One year of professional PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits based on the patient’s plan of care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait training, ADL, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising provider.
• Educate patient and family on participation and rehabilitation methods.
