Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home, a subsidiary of The Pennant Group, seeks a Home Care Aide to serve clients across Pierce County, WA. This field-based role offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts, supporting patients in their homes under RN delegation and agency guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, and timely documentation. Required WA HCA certification or CNA license, CPR/First Aid, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Document client services accurately and timely
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain HIPAA and client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and personal care as outlined in service plan.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client care (laundry, linen changes, tidying).
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding; assist with shopping and errands as needed.
• Under RN delegation, perform delegated nursing tasks (vital signs, medication assistance, select wound care).
• Complete all documentation on the same day services are provided; follow agency standards.
