BrightStar Care - Anchorage is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to join our team to provide quality client care in home settings across the local area. We offer part-time or full-time shifts with flexible scheduling and weekly pay, helping you balance life and work while making a real difference.

Responsibilities include hygiene care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, transportation to appointments, and maintaining a safe, respectful in-home environment.

Competenze

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.
• Auto insurance in accordance with the organization’s requirements if transporting clients.
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience preferred.
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision after initial training.
• Empathy for the needs of the client.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively.
• Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
• Works as a team member.
• Availability to work weekends is a plus (weekend incentive offered).
• HIPAA confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, medication reminder.
• Prepare and administer meals in accordance to client’s diet.
• Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes, report any changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, shopping.
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure client’s rights are adhered to.
