Job summary

Nightingale Respite Care LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team providing non-medical homecare to our aging population in Tennessee. Flexible scheduling and top-pay with weekly direct deposit are among the benefits.

Responsibilities include companionship, housekeeping, transfers, bathing, meals, and assisting with daily activities per client service plans. Training is provided and ongoing support is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year caregiver experience in health care, nursing home, hospital or homecare setting.
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Help clients with transfers and ambulation (cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift).
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input when able.
• Support toileting needs and use of bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events to the administrator and follow protocol.
