Assistance Plus is seeking a conscientious Personal Support Specialist to assist clients with daily living activities in homes around Augusta, ME. You will follow client service plans, support personal care, meal planning, transport, and household tasks while maintaining infection control and safety practices.

The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends within a 30-mile radius, and a valid Maine driver’s license with vehicle insurance.

Qualificações

• Must have proof of vehicle insurance and a valid Maine driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills and access to email/internet.
• PSS certification training provided at no cost.

Responsabilidades

• Follow client service plans and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with elimination needs and bathroom assistance.
• Help with ambulation and transfer using assistive devices.
• Provide transportation within the service area.
• Assist with meals planning and preparation and grocery shopping.
• Assist with light housework and errands as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client status and safety hazards.
