Job summary

BrightStar Care in Belleview, FL is seeking a Field Specialist to provide direct care for short-notice assignments in clients' homes. You will perform personal care tasks, take vitals, assist with activities, and support with meals while building trusting relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified CPR and current physical, or TB/PPD test when applicable.
• Reliable transportation insured per requirements.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care, including personal care and feeding assistance.
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight.
• Prevent skin breakdown via repositioning and ROM.
• Assist with walking, transferring, and self-administered meds (reminders).
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep; keep client environment safe.
• Provide on-the-job training for new caregivers.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certified CPR

TB/PPD test where applicable

Reliable transportation

Willing to travel up to 40 miles
