Job summary

ANOVA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM in Pennsylvania is seeking Direct Care Workers for Lawrence County with multiple openings across surrounding counties. You will help clients stay safely in their own homes, following a care plan and collaborating with our staff coordinator.

Responsibilities include meal planning, light housekeeping, personal care, mobility help, companionship, and errands. You’ll be supervised by the agency team and matched to clients based on proximity, with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to assignments.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Mature, responsible judgment and a real respect for consumer privacy.
• Willingness to complete our employment process and follow the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals that fit each consumer's dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping that keeps the home safe and comfortable.
• Personal care done with dignity: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, hair care, and toileting.
• Helping with walking and movement when a consumer uses a walker or other aid.
• Companionship that matters - reading together, walks, and getting to appointments.
• Grocery runs and errands when they're needed.
