Job summary

Anova Health Care System in Beaver County is seeking Direct Care Workers to support clients in their own homes across the Beaver County area. Multiple positions are open, and you will follow individualized care plans to help with daily tasks and safety.

You will assist with meals, light housekeeping, personal care, mobility support, companionship, and errands, all while maintaining dignity and respect for consumers. Training and supervision are provided to keep you supported and engaged.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Physical ability to perform daily tasks.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Mature judgment and respect for consumer privacy.
• Willingness to complete employment process and follow care plan.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals that fit dietary needs.
• Light housekeeping to keep the home safe and comfortable.
• Personal care with dignity: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, hair care, toileting.
• Assist with walking and movement with a walker or other aid.
• Provide companionship through reading, walks, and appointments.
• Grocery runs and errands when needed.
• Report changes in a consumer's condition to staff coordinator.
• Work under supervision and be scheduled by the agency team.
