Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Open and Virtual interviews are available at our Detroit Office in the Fisher Building. We offer Daily Pay for select positions and no certification is required to apply.

Roles involve personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, with travel between clients and mileage or bus fare reimbursement. Training and safety measures are in place to support caregivers across 186 locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Clean criminal background check required.
• Reliable transportation (car or public transit).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Three references (2 professional, 1 personal) required at application.
• Must complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Reliable, courteous, honest, energetic and caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, meal prep, vacuuming, bed making).
• Provide companionship.
