Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides to support clients in the Metro Detroit and Downriver areas. Open and virtual interviews are available at our Detroit Office in the Fisher Building. You’ll provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, with flexibility and opportunities for career growth.

No certification is required for select positions; daily pay is offered and travel/mileage support is available. Training is provided to help you grow in your role as a trusted caregiver.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Clean criminal background check required.
• Reliable transportation either by car or public transit.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) required at time of application.
• Must complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Assist with light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, meal prep, vacuuming, bed making.
• Offer companionship to clients.
