Job summary

Live Long Well Care of Columbia/Lexington, SC is seeking compassionate CNAs, caregivers, home health aides, and companions to support seniors at home. We offer full-time and part-time roles with weekend work and optional CNA certification, paid premiums for certification, and a 30-mile service radius from the branch.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a smartphone for timekeeping, with duties including ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
• Must have an up-to-date smartphone for timekeeping and communication.
• High school diploma or GED required; state training programs may be required by contract.
• Two years’ experience in a similar position desired but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding and mobility.
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping including laundry and dishes.
• Run errands, grocery shop, transportation for clients within service area.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Care for pets as needed and maintain a safe home environment.
• Document services accurately and promptly per agency policy.
• Report changes in patient needs to supervisor promptly.
