Sunny Days California, Inc. seeks Child Development Specialists to deliver early intervention services to infants and toddlers in family settings and community environments.

You will conduct developmental assessments and implement strategies based on IFSPs to help children meet milestones. Join a nationwide agency offering multidisciplinary therapy and child development services, with flexible schedules and a focus on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood, teaching or related field
• Master’s degree preferred in Orange County
• Special education teaching credential optional

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide child development services using the Parent Coaching Model
• Follow IFSP and collaborate with families to develop strategies for developmental goals
• Use family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and skills
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare, community settings)
• Perform re-assessments and write progress reports bi-annual
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations
