Qualifications

Experience with young children preferred.
Must be enrolled in the Oregon Central Background Registry.

Responsibilities

Assist in carrying out classroom schedule and daily routines as established by the regular classroom staff.
Assist in implementing a planned classroom curriculum.
Takes direction from the assigned teacher or other classroom staff.
Assist in preparing activities, maintaining supplies, and equipment.
Assist with cleaning and maintenance as required by the site.
Use developmentally appropriate and positive guidance with children, and follow the program Child Guidance Policy.
Prepare food for meals in a safe and sanitary environment following local and CACFP regulations.
Help with setting up the meals in the classroom and with meal cleanup.
