Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet guests, assist with daily tasks, and help resolve needs while promoting store offerings and promotions. Comfort with technology, including handheld scanners, and a willingness to learn loyalty programs will help you succeed.

You should be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and maintain a welcoming, attentive demeanor throughout your shift.

Qualifications

Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
Greet guests and assist with daily tasks to create a welcoming environment.
Engage with guests to help solve specific needs and explain store offerings.
Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and enhance guest experience.
Assist with Target Loyalty program sign-ups and related services.
Scan and bag items efficiently, safely, and in compliance with policies.
Support Drive Up, Order Pick Up, and online ordering processes as needed.
