Job summary

The Camelback Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. The role supports post-acute and geriatric patients with skilled, medically necessary therapy in a compassionate, team-based environment.

Responsibilities include screening and evaluating patients, delivering interventions, documenting discharge summaries, and collaborating with caregivers.

Qualifications

• PTA license required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary interventions.
• Regular standing/walking and occasional lifting; varied daily physical demands.
• Administer procedures as part of rehab plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, wound care).
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other service providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
