Peoria Post Acute and Rehabilitation in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role includes screening, planning, and delivering skilled therapy to geriatric patients, with emphasis on regulation adherence and quality care.

We offer a stable, in-house team with flexible full-time schedule, competitive pay between $30 and $35 per hour based on experience, and a benefits package including 401(k) match and PTO.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, wound care).
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other service providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.
