Job summary

Flagship Therapy seeks a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Santa Rosa Care Center in Tucson, AZ. You will provide rehabilitation under the supervision of an OT, delivering ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and modalities to geriatric patients in an in-house rehab program.

Candidates with various levels of experience are welcome; requires OTA program completion and active state licensure. Benefits include health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments as required.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
