Responsibilities

• Performs complete patient assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Recognizes significant changes in patient status and initiates appropriate escalation.
• Coordinates or collects physiologic monitoring data: vital signs, labs, and diagnostic results.
• Documents assessment and plan of care in accordance with policy.
• Maintains and updates the plan of care throughout shift.
