Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking compassionate and dependable Resident Assistants to join our Float Pool across Minnesota communities. This role offers flexibility to pick up shifts based on facility needs, with options for full-time or on-call schedules, and the opportunity to work at multiple Monarch sites while earning competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare preferred.
• Long-term care or assisted living experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various Monarch Healthcare Management communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resilience and the ability to accept feedback, adapt, and grow professionally.
• Personable, compassionate, and able to build trust with tenants, families, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tenants with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene
• Supporting tenant mobility, safety, comfort, and independence
• Providing basic nursing and restorative care services according to individual service plans
• Observing and reporting changes in tenant conditions to the nursing team
• Supporting tenants with cognitive impairments and addressing social and emotional needs
• Building positive relationships with tenants, families, and team members
• Maintaining accurate documentation as required
• Supporting individualized care plans and tenant preferences
• Assisting with medication administration after completing required training, as applicable
• Delivering care in accordance with MDH standards, the Tenant Bill of Rights, and community policies
