Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Columbus, OH seeks a qualified Staff Registered Nurse on a part-time basis. The RN will provide holistic patient care in accordance with the Nursing Process, and collaborate with the care team across shifts (Day and Night).

Responsibilities include assessing patients, assisting with exams and treatments, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Ohio RN license, BLS/CPR, and current competencies are required.

Qualifications

Graduate of a school of nursing.
Current Ohio RN license.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
18 months of recent clinical experience.
ACLS preferred or required as indicated for units.
ER ACLS and PALS required.
Perinatal-EFM and NRP required.

Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice.
Assist provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a provider, including setup of procedures.
Administer medications under the direction of the provider, according to organization policies.
Assist in emergency situations under the direction of the provider.
Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
Document accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions and outcomes for patients.
