Job summary

Becker & Company is seeking skilled Field Investigators to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for licensed investigators seeking flexible hours while performing insurance claim investigations, including workers' compensation and liability, to help clients mitigate expenses and deliver high-quality results.

You will conduct surveillance and SIU assignments within an assigned area, complete written notes promptly, and communicate progress with the case manager.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid state issued driver\'s license.
• Must possess a current private investigator license (if applicable).
• Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to specific requirements of an assignment based upon the case manager's instructions
• Review all case materials prior to conducting investigative activity
• Complete video surveillance on identified individuals for the allotted amount of time and utilize established investigative techniques to secure covert video footage
• Conduct investigations such as securing recorded statements, scene inspections, activity checks and securing documents as assigned
• Complete written notes on each case assignment in a timely manner
• Submit all videotaped results, photographs, and digital recordings via e-mail by the next business day
• Meet established deadlines set by the client
• Communicate effectively with the assigning case manager with regularity regarding the progress of assignments
• Ensure confidentiality of all information obtained
