Job summary

Becker & Company is seeking skilled Field Investigators to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for licensed investigators seeking flexible hours while delivering high-quality investigative services across insurance claims.

Ideal candidates will perform surveillance and SIU assignments within an assigned area, obtaining videotape documentation and following case manager instructions to ensure confidentiality and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Possess a current private investigator license (if applicable).
• Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.
• Possess investigative tools (Laptop, Video Cameras, Digital Recorder, etc.).
• Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience conducting surveillance as a field investigator.
• Experience completing SIU claim investigations.
• Possess a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to assignment requirements per case manager instructions.
• Review all case materials before investigation.
• Complete video surveillance for allotted time and secure covert footage.
• Conduct investigations such as statements, scene inspections, and document gathering.
• Prepare timely written notes for each case.
• Submit videotaped results, photos, and recordings by the next business day.
• Meet client deadlines and communicate progress to case manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained.
