Job summary

Vital Research in Wyoming is seeking Field Interviewers to collect confidential survey data as independent contractors. You’ll work remotely or on-site with flexibility to set your own schedule while meeting project deadlines.

The statewide project runs through May 2027 with mandatory training October 7–8 in Cheyenne; compensation is per completed survey with rates by method and tiered training stipends.

Qualifications

• Experience in interviewing, surveys, or research settings.
• Empathy and ability to communicate clearly with diverse participants.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality in data collection.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to participants and schedule/complete surveys.
• Conduct 1 survey per day or 5 per week using provided tools.
• Record responses accurately with confidentiality.
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity in interactions.
• Coordinate with the research team for updates and support.
• Utilize translation services for non-English-speaking participants.
