Job summary

ENGIE Germany seeks an experienced IT project manager to drive end-to-end digitalization in energy trading. You will align business needs with technical solutions, bridge IT and business, and lead projects through development, testing, and Go-Lives, handling market data and settlement processes.

The role requires strong multi-stakeholder communication, 5+ years in PM or data engineering, Python/SQL skills, and fluency in English. Berlin or Cologne; flexible hours and pension perks offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, consulting, or data engineering and integration.
• Experience with user stories, BPMN process modeling, and concept creation.
• Strong communication at all hierarchy levels and senior project management skills.
• Solid Python and SQL knowledge with ability to solve small technical challenges or prototype.
• Experience with REST APIs, SFTP, script-based automation, and GitHub workflows.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end digitalization projects in energy trading across local and global stakeholders.
• Translate business challenges into requirements and design end-to-end solutions.
• Bridge business and IT as a technical sparring partner.
• Lead projects through development or implementation, testing, Go-Lives, and handover.
• Work with energy market data, schedules, consumption time series, asset data, and settlement processes.
• Implement and use Python-based ETL and Azure integrations; ensure secure observability.
• Perform structured testing, Go-Lives, Hypercare, and handover to operations.
