Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on support in home and community settings, helping individuals with developmental disabilities live independently according to their ISP.

If you are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and a compassionate, dependable spirit, you could join our flexible, case-based schedule with local opportunities across New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
