QSAC, based in New York City and Long Island, seeks a compassionate Habilitation Specialist (DSP) to assist individuals with autism in daily living and social skills. You will follow established treatment plans, promote independence, and support community integration through recreational outings.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, prior experience with IDD, and a valid driver's license. Flexible shifts and a comprehensive benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Safety & Support: ensure health, safety and welfare of individuals.
• Safeguard confidentiality and promote independence through daily living skills.
• Work with others to support self-directed lives and implement treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively and assist with transport as needed.
