Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities.

You’ll help with daily living skills, encourage social participation, and support independence while documenting care and coordinating with a care team. This role offers flexible schedules, orientation, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful background check and required training.
• At least 18 years old and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home or in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, grooming and personal care.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Document care, activities, and progress and communicate with the team.
