Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will provide one-on-one care, help with daily living tasks, and promote independence with compassionate, respectful care.

Pay ranges from $13 to $15 per hour with weekly pay. Training, career growth opportunities, health benefits, and bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance (primary or secondary).
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients’ homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
• Helping with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care.
• Encouraging participation in social and community activities.
• Assisting individuals to achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
• Promoting choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
• Documenting care, activities, and progress; communicating with the team.
