Job summary

Addus HomeCare seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist seniors and people with disabilities at home. Earn up to $15.68/hr with daily and weekly pay options and a flexible schedule. You’ll follow care plans, help with personal care, housekeeping, meals, transportation, and medication support in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
