Job summary

Neuse Enterprises Inc. is seeking a part-time Flex Direct Support Professional to support our Day Support Program, ADV, and PSR participants.

You will provide person-centered assistance, promote independence, and help participants achieve daily living and community goals. The role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and a driver’s license, with flexibility to work multiple programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• NCI certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, assistance, and support to participants.
• Develop and maintain daily living, functional, and independent living skills.
• Facilitate meaningful activities based on participant interests and goals.
• Promote independence, self-advocacy, and self-determination.
• Support goals in PCP, ISP, and treatment plans.
• Encourage community involvement and inclusion.
• Document progress and maintain records with HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and follow safety procedures.
