Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. We support one-on-one work following each client’s ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

We offer $18–$24 per hour with flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. Prior caregiving is a plus but not required; CPR/First Aid certification is welcomed and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Experience in caregiving or human services is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and support independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
