Job summary

Delta‑T Group seeks Direct Care Workers/Residential Aides in the Concord, MA area for independent contractor opportunities. You will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, reinforcing personal care, communication, and social skills.

The role emphasizes documenting progress and monitoring medication intake, while offering flexible opportunities and access to client assignments through a leading referral agency for behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a health care setting.
• Self-motivated with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to maintain First Aid/CPR, and other certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to transport individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health and/or medical challenges in a residential setting.
• Provide instruction and reinforce personal care/hygiene tasks, community living, communication, and socialization skills.
• Implement person-centered activities and goals that create and maintain a supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and reports that meet State and federal requirements.
• Monitor medication intake.
