Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a healthcare setting.
• Must be self-motivated with a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR, and other certifications as required.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License to transport residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Provide instruction and reinforce personal care/hygiene tasks, community living, communication, and socialization skills.
• Implement person-centered activities and goals that create and maintain a supportive environment.
• Monitor medication intake
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and reports that meet State and federal requirements
