Job summary

Lahealthandrehab is seeking a Floater to provide direct care across multiple parish locations, covering a broad shift window from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, including some weekends. The role requires transporting residents, supervising daily activities, and delivering Active Treatment per Individual Plans.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least 18 years of age and a minimum of 23 years for employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 23 years old and not younger than 18.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed Active Treatment per client Plan-of-Care.
• Supervise and support clients for learning and development.
• Assist with transportation and daily living activities.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and incident records.
• Attend to medication self-administration supervision as needed.
• Train residents in hygiene, cooking, shopping, and house maintenance.
