Job summary

Sanford Health in Thief River Falls, MN, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and maintain high standards of patient care.

The role requires operating ultrasound equipment, recording images, collaborating with physicians, and, when needed, supervising students and fellow sonographers. A current RDMS/ARRT/RVT or registry-eligible certification is preferred, with BLS within six weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Registration in RDMS/RVT/ARRT or registry eligible.
• BLS certification within six weeks of employment; recertification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasounds in a professional and diagnostic manner.
• Identify and record anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.
• Operate the ultrasound machine and utilize new technologies.
• Coordinate work with physicians and healthcare team during procedures.
• Supervise and train students and medical sonographers as needed.
• Maintain ethical standards and patient rapport.
