201 Lakeshore Medical Clinic is seeking a Casual CT Technologist for first-shift coverage. The role supports New Berlin and Layton Avenue clinics, with a commitment of at least two first-shift shifts per month and no weekends, nights, or holidays.

The position involves operating CT equipment, positioning patients, administering contrast as directed, and ensuring accurate image labeling and documentation. It offers flexible scheduling and varied outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and radiation safety.
• Competent in IV and venipuncture.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Operates CT equipment to perform basic to advanced diagnostic procedures.
• Performs imaging procedures including body, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities and 3D reformatting.
• Obtains patient history and ensures exam accuracy.
• Positions patient and adjusts scanning factors for quality images; applies radiation safety measures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction and assists in scanning techniques.
• Post-processes images and labels files with patient data and locations.
• Maintains accurate records and documents procedures for charges and regulatory compliance.
• Identifies equipment issues and assists with QA tests and calibration.
• Acts as a resource and preceptor for staff and students.
• Participates in accreditation efforts.
