Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program required at hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant license (CA CNA) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic patient care skills, including patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, back rubs).
• Measures vital signs, weights, and I&O, accurately and within expected time frames.
• Documents accurately on designated forms or in computer.
• Ambulates, lifts, moves and transports patients within specified time frames.
• Positions patients and performs range of motion exercises.
• Stocks patient care supplies before leaving end of shift.
