Qualifications

• Valid substitute teaching license or permit as required by state or diocese.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or supervisory settings preferred.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and manage classroom behavior effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular teacher.
• Provide instruction across assigned subjects and grade levels.
• Maintain classroom order and enforce school rules and policies.
• Create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Take attendance and manage daily classroom routines.
• Adapt to different classrooms, subjects, and grade levels as assigned.
• Communicate relevant student concerns to appropriate staff.
• Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, recess, dismissal, and other activities.
• Support the Catholic identity and mission of the school, including participation in prayer and religious activities as appropriate.
