Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in a fast-paced store environment.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon/postage/gift card procedures.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain safe, clean store areas and report safety issues to management.
• Provide helpful information about products and services, and assist minors or seniors as needed.
