Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship. Flexible shifts include Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In options.

A High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and background screen are required. We offer competitive hourly pay, benefits, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
