Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking caregivers for flexible, part-time and full-time shifts in Connecticut. You will provide non-medical home care, transport clients to activities, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship in a supportive home environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check. Experience as a caregiver is a plus; multiple service areas are available across CT.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion, reliability and good communication.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as caregiver/HHA/CNA/PCA/Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
