Job summary

Solera Senior Living Evanston is seeking a compassionate Caregiver (CNA/PCA) to assist residents with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and follow care plans under indirect supervision.

Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable with strong attendance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions, including in stressful situations.
• Compassionate, respectful, and professional when interacting with residents, families, team members, and the public.
• Annual flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions considered).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and changing bed linens.
• Support residents at meals, activities, appointments, and other scheduled events.
• Accurately document care provided and communicate with teammates to ensure continuity of care.
