Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license and access to insured transportation.
• Ability to recognize the needs of others and build relationships.
• Flexibility to spend evenings and weekends caring for clients.

Responsibilities

• In-Home Assistance – help with day-to-day activities like preparing meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, technology and other basic activities
• Companionship – join clients in playing games, arts and crafts, and accompany them to events outside the home like appointments, grocery shopping and running errands
• Community Building – create a safe and positive living situation for clients by communicating with the family and other staff about any concerns or challenges
