Job summary

Provide CIC is seeking Support Practitioners to work flexibly across Enablement and Care services at Fern Lodge and Cypress Gardens in Braintree. The roles are bank/relief positions with a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends and waking nights.

Salary is £13.02 per hour with enhancements for nights and weekends, and the advert notes short-notice requirements and a Disability Confident employer status.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Ability to work across multiple care settings.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities to the highest standard towards meeting agreed outcomes.
• Support individuals to maintain their own home, living a fulfilled and happy life.
• Support individuals with personal care ensuring privacy, dignity and respect are maintained.
• Support individuals to create and maintain a living environment that feels like their own home.
• Support and encourage individuals to make choices and life decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act requirements.
• Assist individuals to engage in everyday home, social, leisure and work activities.
• Support individuals with their health needs.
• Keep up to date and accurate records, maintaining confidentiality.
• Support individuals with their finances.
• Look for opportunities to use assistive technology to increase the persons independence.
• To ensure that any incidents, particularly those which may relate to safeguarding, are reported
