Job summary

Springfield Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Bilingual Educational Assistant to work across multiple sites in Springfield, Oregon. The role offers a flexible schedule Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, with shifts between 3 and 7.75 hours daily.

Staff may also serve as interpreters or translators as needed to support families and students. Qualifications include an Associates degree or higher (or equivalent post‑secondary study), and the ability to demonstrate instructional

Qualifications

Associates degree or higher (attach diploma) OR two years post‑secondary study with 72 credit hours OR high school diploma with local/academic assessment.
Knowledge of clerical procedures and office equipment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and policies.
Bilingual/bi-cultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Work Monday through Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, with shifts ranging 3 to 7.75 hours per day.
On-call substitute or planned schedule using Frontline software; may serve as interpreter/translator as needed.
Assist staff, students and families and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Maintain professional conduct and adhere to district policies.
