Job summary

Devereux Pocono Center seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans and support children and families in community settings across NEPA counties.

This Independent Contractor role offers flexible schedules and community-based services, with duties including direct service delivery, data tracking, and supervision, and pays $23.00/hr with sign-on bonuses available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred.
• Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to reduce abuse.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services and support, in the child's home, school or community setting
• Implements the interventions outlined in the treatment plan
• Assists the child in developing age-appropriate behaviors and coping skills
• Offers support and transfers appropriate interventions to the child or caregiver
• Complete necessary data tracking
• Attends weekly supervision
