Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our store. The BA engages guests to determine needs, conducts make-up applications and skincare analysis, and supports sales goals through in-store events and services.

The role emphasizes guest service, product knowledge, teamwork, and adherence to store procedures. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience, with proficiency in POS systems and Apple devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional guest experience in-store and engage guests to determine needs.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive sales.
• Maintain fixtures replenished, signed and faced, and ensure testers are available.
• Assist with online orders and handle refunds and exchanges when needed
