Job summary

Shully’s Cuisine & Events in the Milwaukee area is seeking reliable Banquet Servers to join our team. You will assist with event setup, service, guest hospitality, and breakdown, contributing to memorable experiences at weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations.

Ideal candidates enjoy teamwork, remain flexible for evenings and weekends, and deliver friendly, professional service. Prior catering or hospitality experience is welcome but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing event needs.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends, particularly during peak event seasons.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup & Preparation: set up event spaces, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations.
• Food & Beverage Service: serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages; clear tables and replenish drinks.
• Guest Experience: maintain a welcoming, professional attitude and respond to guest needs.
• Event Breakdown & Cleanup: clear tables, pack equipment, and return spaces to original condition; follow safety procedures.
