Job summary

Subaru of Olathe is seeking an Assistant Service Advisor to greet guests, take calls, and help set appointments. You will identify mechanical problems, discuss results with customers, and prepare repair orders with time, cost, and labor estimates.

Responsibilities include writing concise repair descriptions for technicians, explaining charges to customers, and performing other duties as assigned. A customer service background is preferred, with mandatory 18+ and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, answer phone calls, and assist with setting appointments
• Identify a mechanical problem by asking investigative questions or by performing a visual inspection and/or road test
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs
• Prepare a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service
• Write a brief description of the customer's concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem
• Explain the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer
• Other duties as assigned by Management
