Job summary

Subaru of Olathe is seeking an Assistant Service Advisor in a full-time role. You will greet guests, book appointments, and help identify mechanical issues, writing repair orders with time and cost estimates. You will discuss results with customers and assist technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, answer phone calls, and assist with setting appointments
• Assist in identifying a mechanical problem by asking investigative questions or by performing a visual inspection and/or road test
• Confer with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures, and prepare work order for needed repairs
• Prepare a repair order showing time, cost and labor estimates for service
• Write a brief description of the customer’s concern on the repair order to help the technician locate the problem
• Explain the work performed and the repair order charges to the customer
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
